The Savannah Journal of Medical Research and Practice published bi-annually (December and June) seeks to promote and advance the practice and study of all fields of human medicine. We welcome contributions relating to all aspects of basic and clinical research and practice experience. Contributions may be in the form of original articles, review articles, case reports, letters to the editor, brief communications, and interesting clinical images etc. Occasionally, the journal also presents book reviews, short monographs and selections of important communiqué, policy papers, bills and acts with a bearing on medical practice.

The Savannah Journal of Medical Research and Practice is a new open access journal devoted to the publication of scholarly articles on all aspects of medical research and practice. Scientific research, review articles, letters to the editor, technical notes, and research findings will be published in the journal. The journal will accept articles from young doctors and teaching assistants in particular, and it aims to support their research.
